I don't think that matters that you are not the author as long as you mean it. And I know you do! (send my love to your mum!)
My mom discovered that I didn't wrote my one too, but she really likes it, and she said that she wants to listen the song, but I said no, because it's a hannah montana's song, and I don't like her, just this song. :D
